Frugal Fresh

I have been working on that Ab-Soul review all day. I still am not completely done with it. I want to do one more final look over before I send it to the important people. I started from about noon until now. I wish I could just knock out a piece in two hours like “Resurrecting the Champ.” My piece is over 1,300 words too. I am sure Josh Hartnett’s piece was only 500 words and not as great. It is just like Josh Hartnett’s acting. 

I did most of my writing on the porch today. It got hot after a while though. I had to come inside around 2 PM. There was ants out there too feasting on some food. I hope they finish it tonight so I can stop watching their every move. I do not want them to carry me to their ant hill. How did they get to the third floor anyway? They are determined to survive. I hope that piece of food is good. I can not even make out what it is. 

That Men at Work show is lucky that it is on TBS. It is not that funny funny from hat I seen from the premiere. TBS online steaming sucks too. Their advertisement time is three minutes too. That is light years long when it comes to watching a show online. The funniest character on the show is the black guy. His name is James Lesure. He has been type casted playing that role for a while now. I am sure he got it down packed. 

The season premiere of Workaholics was not that funny. I did laugh but not as much as last season. I probably should have had some acid to get all of the jokes. I watch some old episodes of Rules of Engagement too. I had to stop myself from watching Law & Order: SVU before my head exploded. I did not know Viola Davis had a recurring role on that show. It surprised me. She played the defense lawyer a few times. The others of the Thunder missed more than a few shots tonight. 

P.S. I definitely thought I was going to Atlanta this weekend. 

It was raining pigs and frogs today. It rain more today than when the tropical storm Beryl came around. It was on and off, When it was on, you would think it would never stop. Then ten second later it would be moderate rain that you can tolerate. The ducks were not phased by it at first. Eventually they got fed up and left the pond. Oh you do not know about the ducks? 

Yeah, I went to my aunt’s house before I set off back home today. They had a little breakfast waiting for me and a Caprisun. I could go for one of those now. The family was busy chit chatting while I was watching the pond. I should have got video of that. I could have used myphone. I will just tell you that it looked and sound cool now. 

The trip was not that long. I did not turn off the trip meter again. My memory is not good. I went to Huddle House on the way back. I wish I would have seen the on table promotion for MVP breakfast. I could have got a waffle added to my meal and my food would have been a dollar cheaper. I lost out on that one. I felt like a loser for a second. 

I felt like a champ watching this movie for about two hours. I watched Resurrecting the Champ with Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Hartnett. It is loosely based on a true story. It is a gentle mashup between the Soloist and Shattered Glass. Unlike the Soloist though, it does not put you to sleep. It is a splash of boxing in it too. It is not like the Rocky the movie though. Well, Rocky Marciano is mentioned it. I suggest you watch it though.
